The Uintah High Choir program sent three choirs to the Region Choir Festival on April 20th. Polyphony, the advanced mixed choir and Lumionsa, the advanced women’s choir, qualified for state with superior ratings. Virsonum, the advanced men’s choir, performed incredibly well and received excellent ratings, but did not qualify for state this year. Polyphony and Luminosa will continue to the State Choir Festival held at the University of Utah on May 13th and 14th, where the best choirs from all regions across the state will perform. Congratulations to all these choir students for their hard work and commitment to excellent singing.
